Stephen Leonard

Climate Change Policy Analyst, Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR). Stephen Leonard is a qualified lawyer and International climate change law and policy expert. He has provided strategic advice and policy and legal analyses on U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) climate law and policy, including on social and environmental aspects of climate change, to U.N. agencies, intergovernmental organizations, civil society, indigenous peoples, and legal and research centres across the globe. Currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia, he has provided senior level strategic advice to CIFOR for the past three years.
