How are women shaping the world of sustainable finance?

GLF Live with Maria Amália Souza and Ayesha Khan

This International Women’s Day (8 March) at 12:00 UTC, join us in learning what it means to be a leader in sustainable finance with Regional Director of Acumen Pakistan, Ayesha Khan, and founder of the Casa Socio-Environmental Fund, Maria Amália Souza.

Ayesha Khan and Maria Amália Souza are two of the women being celebrated in this year’s 16 Women Restoring the Earth campaign, which honors and promotes the incredible work of a selection of women over the past year.

Hosted by award-winning multimedia journalist Natasha Elkington, this GLF Live will explore how these two women use finance for positive social and environmental change, from supporting grassroots projects in South America to investing in more resilient food systems in Pakistan.

This GLF Live will air on the Global Landscapes Forum’s YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.

Maria Amália Souza is the Founder of the Casa Socio-Environmental Fund, an organization that promotes conservation, sustainability, democracy, socio-environmental rights and social justice through financial support to grassroots projects in South America.

Ayesha Khan is the Regional Director for Acumen Pakistan. She is currently setting up the country’s first climate-focused fund, which will invest in growth-stage agribusinesses for resilient food systems and climate change adaptation.
