How are women shaping the world of sustainable finance?

GLF Live with Maria Amália Souza and Ayesha Khan

This episode is now available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Stitcher and Amazon Music.

For 2023, we celebrated International Women’s Day by exploring what it means to be a leader in sustainable finance with regional director of Acumen Pakistan, Ayesha Khan, and founder of the Casa Socio-Environmental Fund, Maria Amália Souza.

Khan and Souza are two of the women being celebrated in this year’s 16 Women Restoring the Earth campaign, which honors and promotes the incredible work of a selection of women over the past year.

Hosted by award-winning multimedia journalist Natasha Elkington, this GLF Live quizzed these two women on how they use finance for positive social and environmental change, from supporting grassroots projects in South America to investing in more resilient food systems in Pakistan.
