Eco-financial initiatives accelerate as “green” awareness grows

As the push toward landscape conservation expands, people are starting to see the benefits of investing in green initiatives, according to a top climate financier.

“Banks are beginning to understand they need to think differently about risk, they need to get a better understanding that green is actually lower risk,” said Christopher Knowles, advisory council member at the Climate Bonds Initiative at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development Centre for Green Finance & Investment.
